Since 2000, with the cooperation of the Alberta Government and the County of Strathcona, SRCFA members can enjoy the flying field at the Strathcona Science Park (click to locate in Google Map). This site overlooks the beautiful Edmonton River Valley and offers a 500 feet runway, as well as slope soaring. The site also offers majestic views while flying smaller R/C airplanes. It is located 5 minutes west of Sherwood Park on 17th Street NW, north of Baseline Road.

If you are interested in coming out and watch us fly, just make sure the wind is not blowing too hard, and you will find us flying like mad!
